Preparing for the Agentic Web: Semantic Infrastructure for the AI Era
Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 12:00-1:00 PM ET
The next era of digital experiences will depend on machine understanding — not just search visibility. As AI assistants, copilots, and agents increasingly mediate how users discover and interact with information, organizations need a more reliable way for machines to understand their content, products, services, and expertise in context.
Join RV Guha, Technical Fellow at Microsoft and creator of Schema.org, RDF and RSS, alongside Martha van Berkel and Mark van Berkel from Schema App, for a discussion on why semantic understanding is becoming foundational infrastructure for the AI era.
In this webinar, we’ll explore NLWeb — Microsoft’s open protocol for making websites conversationally queryable by humans and AI agents — and why knowledge graphs are critical infrastructure for preparing organizations for the future of digital experiences.
You’ll learn:
- Why AI systems struggle to reliably interpret websites and digital content
- Why machine understanding matters more than traditional search visibility alone
- How structured data and knowledge graphs can provide grounding, context, and semantic clarity for AI systems
- How Schema.org and semantic infrastructure support conversational AI, copilots, and agent-driven experiences
- What NLWeb is and how it enables websites to become accessible to AI agents
- What organizations should do now to prepare for the next evolution of the web
You’ll also see a live demonstration of Schema App’s Knowledge Assistant powered by NLWeb, including conversational search, content diagnostics, and agent-ready interactions built on semantic infrastructure.
Whether you work in Marketing, SEO, digital experience, content strategy, or AI innovation, this webinar will help you understand how the role of the website is changing — and why machine-readable meaning is becoming critical to staying competitive.
