Schema App Tutorial: How to add Aggregate Rating to a Product

This Tutorial shows you how to add Aggregate Rating to a Product

Use the shortcut on the homepage of the app, click on product, enter in the Name and the URI. Pick the type from the dropdown menu.

The URI is the URL of the page that you want to markup. It is going to be the reference for the WordPress Plugin, the Javascript API or the Google tag manager to pull in the JSON-LD or Schema.org markup.

Fill out the properties form so that the content is consistent with the information on your page.

Under Product Properties, click on the plus sign next to the Aggregate Ratings line to bring in the fields.

It will then ask you for:

  • rating value
  • review count
  • the best rating out of five
  • the worst rating out of one
  • the url the information is coming from

Fill out rest of the relevant fields in the Product Properties section.

Now the product has aggregate ratings tied to it.

Click on the gear icon to see the JSON-LD and you can double test the code using Google’s structured data testing tool.
