The latest release of (3.4) includes two new Types – DefinedTerm and DefinedTermSet – to make life easier in this area.

For tourism markup, two new types TouristDestination and TouristTrip have joined the already useful TouristAttraction.


Google Introduces Media Actions, Powered by JSON-LD Data Feeds

This is a significant change to how Google employs structured data for audio and video content, which has chiefly been used to generate rich results in the search engine result pages (SERPs).


JSON-LD Working Group Charter

The JSON-LD Working Group will update the JSON-LD 1.0 Recommendation to take into account new features and desired simplifications that have become apparent since its publication.


The Bing markup validator now supports JSON-LD

One way or the other, certainly a good sign that Bing intends to make good on their promise to support JSON-LD.
