Meet Jeffrey Burns, Schema App’s Customer Success Manager

We’re pleased to have Jeffrey Burns join us as our newest team member!

Tell us About Yourself?

Hey there! I’m Jeffrey Burns. I studied philosophy at York University and I’ve played sports my whole life. Most of my career has been in sales or customer success, which is great because I’m energized by people and enjoy solving problems. Recently I moved to Kitchener Ontario to be closer to family and my newest challenge is raising a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy named Huron. Also, I’m an absolute fanatic Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

What do you do at Schema App?

As a customer success manager at Schema App I do many things. I help our users get the most out of our toolset and act as a customer advocate. I help with support cases, on-boarding, training, and consulting.

Why did you choose to work here?

I chose to work here because I saw that the Schema App team was a small group of passionate experts working to reach a really cool goal. I saw an opportunity to pitch in and make a real impact. Not everyone has that opportunity!

What do you think is the best part of your job?

No day is the same. The combination of my core responsibilities and jumping in to help where I can keep me constantly engaged. Last week’s wins energize me to tackle this week’s challenges and they’re hardly ever the same. Every day is exciting.

If you are ever feeling a little down and could use a hug, you should check out the nicest place on the internet.

Where can people find you online?

I can be found on Linkedin and Google+.

What’s your superpower?

I would say that my primary superpower is Persistence. It is something I learned playing sports and practiced in sales – Never give up.

Favorite Youtube Video

It has to be the interview with Ryan Reynolds that is completely derailed by Betty White. Seriously, take a few minutes to watch it.

My favorite Schema Markup Class has to be Recipe. I love to cook. I’m always trying new things and constantly rely on recipes. Having recipe instruction rich snippets in search has helped me make dinner so so many times and saved me a lot of time!
